There's no shortage of ice rinks in NYC, but the chicest one is certainly the Popup Ice Rink at The Standard Hotel. Now open for the 2013 winter season, the rink is located in The Standard Plaza at the corner of W. 13th and Washington Street. It's a small, intimate rink that's perfect for a date night skate. The best part (in my opinion), is the rink-side Alpine Kaffeeklatsch that is a must apre skate, serving cold-weather favorites (hot ciders, hot chocolates) and spiked versions for the nightime crowd.
